The first one is the Burt's Bees Peach & Willowbark Deep Pore Scrub:
Price- $8.00 size: 4 oz/110 g
Where- Target, CVS, Walgreens
Texture- Creamy milky with peach stone particles.
Smell- I love this smell. It's not a strong smell at all. Reminds me of my trip to Georgia.
Results- I used this at night about 3 times a week. First time I used it I loved the consistency in it and how it stayed on my skin and didnt roll off (like some scrubs do)I didnt find it to be a rough scrub- where you cant handle scrubing your skin to long. I would say its between gentle and aggressive. The happy middle. It was rather easy to wash off- only had random odd bits in my hair line. After I was done and dryed my skin. I went in for the touch test. I was blown away how smooth my skin felt. It felt the way after I get a lactic peel- smooth and with an amazing glow. The next morning was the test. How would my makeup apply? It went on smoothly and perfectly. My co-workers made comments on my skin- asking if i had done a peel on my skin... of course I let them in my secret. Keep in mind I work in the skincare/beauty industry. I am around people who's profession is skin. So, for them to be as amazed as I was- is a huge plus in my book!
Would I repurchase again: Yes, yes, yes! I have told everyone I know to go buy this!
Moving on to the other scrub....
Befine Food Skincare Exfoliating Cleanser w/ Brown sugar, sweet almond & oats:
Price: $25.00 size: 4 oz/ 120 ml
Where: I got this sent in my monthly birchbox. I researched where you could buy it and all I got was the website and Ulta. (not all ulta's carry out though)
Texture: oil based with brown sugar & oats particles.
Smell: I was not a fan of the smell. I usually like the smell of brown sugar. But this was just not working for me.
Results: I used this twice a week. 3 times a week was too much for my skin. This was a lot more abrasive on my skin. The consistency in this was nice it is a lot more finely grained. I didnt scrub as long on my skin as i could see my skin was getting rather pink. Washing it off was bit of extra effort to get off but not something i would say is annoying. After I dryed- I went in for the touch test. I will say my skin felt nice and smooth and overall felt great. Only thing i wasn't a fan of is my skin was pink in certain areas as this was a lot more abrasive. I acutally didnt have any co-workers comment on my skin on this one. My makeup went on smoothly and looked lovely.
Would I repurchase: This was sent in my birchbox (deluxe sample) I personally wouldn't buy again. The smell wasn't my cup of tea and it made my skin pink after. I think this is a great product but is not for me.
Overall: I would repurchase the Burt's Bees I was blown away with it and I love it. I used it on the back of my arms and they just felt great afterwards. I love the price point on this one and it's easy to get. I don't have to go online to get it. I can go to my local Target. I would recommed the Burt's Bees to anyone!
